Lip liner tattoo

A natural-appearing permanent cosmetic lip liner can be applied to give more definition and correct uneven lips, which will result in a fuller appearance. The procedure also helps prevent lipstick from bleeding and can minimize the appearance of wrinkles. Rather than just tattooing a line, we used new methods to make the lip liner blend in and not look like a solid line, giving the lips a more natural appearance.
This enhancement gives a more defined youthful appearance to lips that have lost the contour and some of the natural pigment color. It provides subtle volume and symmetry. It will define the natural lip contour in a soft, similar color to your own lips or in a darker color as you desire.

Lip blushing tattoo

Lip blushing is a cosmetic procedure that involves the application of semi-permanent pigment to the lips, giving them a natural-looking tint. The process typically includes soft outlining and filling the lips to enhance their shape and color. It is a very effective way of dressing the lips; if you have pale lips, you can instantly give them a dramatic new appearance.

How to Prepare for a Lip Blushing Appointment?

Proper preparation is key to achieving the best results from your permanent makeup appointment.

Preparing for lip blush tattooing is essential. It can help prevent complications or issues during the procedure.

The right preparation also ensures your lips are in the best possible condition, which leads to a longer-lasting outcome.

Prepare for your lip blushing treatment with these simple steps:

  1. Hydrate and exfoliate a few days prior.

  2. 24 hours prior, stay away from alcohol, caffeine, and other blood thinners. This is important as they can cause excessive bleeding, which can stop the pigments from setting.

  3. You should be free of antibiotics for 4 weeks and not pregnant or breastfeeding.

  4. Fillers or Botox should heal a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of your lip blushing appointment.

  5. If you are prone to cold sores, please talk to your doctor. They can prescribe cold sore medication for before and after the appointment.

How Long Does a Lip Blush Tattoo Take?

A lip blush tattoo appointment will take 2 to 2 ½ hours from start to finish. This includes consultation and shape drawing.

Does Lip Blushing Hurt?

Before your artist begins the lip blushing procedure, they will apply a topical anesthetic cream to your lips. This prevents you from feeling pain during the process.

Most guests do not feel any discomfort during the lip blushing procedure itself. Some experience a mild scratching or pinching sensation.

With that said, all guests have unique pain tolerance thresholds. Our most sensitive guests rank the experience between 2 and 4 on the standard pain scale. Many of them rank getting a traditional tattoo much higher. In fact, several have said getting their eyebrows waxed was more painful!

How Long Does Lip Blushing or Lip Tattooing Last?

When properly cared for, a lip blush tattoo can last two to four years. Since our lips regenerate constantly, lip blush tattoos are not totally permanent.

You can apply a lip blush tattoo every 6 to 12 months after your initial appointment. A touch-up allows the ultimate flexibility for color direction or sheerness level.
